Statement of Beliefs

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, authoritative written Word of God. “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:15-17

We believe in one true God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

We believe Jesus Christ is God, with the Father and the Holy Spirit. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.” John 1:1-3

We believe all people are born lost in sin. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 v

We believe God has provided salvation from sin through the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ for all who believe. “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.” Ephesians 1:7

We believe forgiveness of sin and eternal salvation must be received by repentance and faith. “And Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” Acts 2:38

We believe there is no salvation apart from Jesus Christ. “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer. “However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.” Romans 8:9

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment. “And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:46
